What to Expect on a Normal Sunday Morning
The New Testament states the first Christians celebrated communion whenever they worshiped together. For this reason we share the Lord’s Supper every Sunday. Because it is the Lord’s Table – not ours – all baptized believers are welcome to share in the supper. On Sundays, the elements of The Lord’s Supper (the bread and the cup) are passed through the congregation by the deacons of the church. In keeping with our belief in “the priesthood of all believers” we serve one another in the pew.

Dressing up is not a requirement to worship with us at Phillips Christian Church. Most do wear their “Sunday best” but you’re also likely to find others in slacks and a casual shirt, or even jeans. We believe the most important part about Sunday morning is showing up, ready to worship God.
Our Sunday School hour begins at 9AM with classes for children and adults. At 10AM worship begins with Worship through song, worship through prayer, worship through taking the Lord's Supper, worship through giving, and worship through hearing the word. Whenever you come and worship with us, you will receive a warm – but not “smothering”- welcome from others in worship.
